The Prophet of Islam said: “I was ordered to fight the people until they believe in Allah and His Messenger.” When the Muslims divided the people into Muslims and non-Muslims, and called to fight the others until they believe in what they themselves believe, they started this clash, and began this war. Den Malware DRM Herstellern, wie z. B. dem Hersteller von StarForce, ist dies ein Dorn im Auge. Um zu zeigen, wie gefährdet nicht Malware DRM verseuchte Software angeblich ist, hat ein Admin, aus dem offiziellen StarForce Forum, einen Link auf einen Galactic Civilizations 2 Torrent gesetzt.

Ist das Schutzgelderpressen? Nach dem Motte, “Wenn ihr, die Spielehersteller, eure Spiele nicht mit unserer DRM Malware versucht, dann betreiben wir bald selbst unsere Tracker und Torrent Sites mit euren Spielen”.

Durch einen Bericht [1] am 02.03.06 ist der Eindruck entsanden, Kill More People betreibe tendenziöse, pro christliche, Berichterstattung und einseitiges Islambashing [2]. In dem Bericht waren einige Cover von christlichen und islamischen Ratgebern abgebildet, im Verhältnis 1:6.

An dieser Stelle daher eine Richtigstellung:

Kill More People legt größten Wert auf eine faire und ausgewogene anti-chritliche und anti-islamische Berichterstattung.

Kill More People verachtet beide Religionen gleichermasen und achtet im höchsten Maße darauf, dass beide Religionen ihr Fett abbekommen.

Es war falsch von dem Autor des Berichtes nur das Cover eines christlichen Ratgebers, aber von 6 islamischen Ratgebern zu zeigen.

Um diesen Fehler zu korrigieren, folgen nun die Cover aller 20 Ratgeber.

Das, folgerte sie, könne als Vorbild für die Politik dienen – viele Kleine statt weniger Große? Das technische Modell der Achtziger?

Volksnäher und verständlicher fielen da ihre Ratschläge für die Hardware-Hersteller aus, die sie heute an verschiedenen Ständen verteilte: “Wir brauchen einfache und bequeme Sachen, die dem gesunden Menschenverstand einleuchten”, konstatierte sie da etwa. “Denken Sie es nicht so sehr von der Technik, sondern denken Sie es immer von dem, der dann voller Hoffnung in den Laden geht und zu Hause plötzlich mutterseelenallein mit der Gebrauchsanweisung steht.”

Dass ihr das ausgerechnet am Stand des Handy-Herstellers Motorola – berühmt-berüchtigt für schicke, kleine Produkte mit kryptischen Benutzermenüs – einfiel, bewies den klaren, pragmatischen Blick der Kanzlerin. Den wenig diplomatischen, aber erfrischend ehrlichen Satz, sie sei “nicht so für kleine Handys, weil ich die in der Handtasche wieder suchen muss”, hätte man gern noch anderen Ständen gehört. Nichts ist lustiger als Marketing-Manager mit eingefrorenem Lächeln.

Dear Future Hi Readers,

Our forums have been hacked by Islamic hackers. If you go there now, you can see their handywork. The question is, why us? Of all the people in the west, we at Future Hi are a very open and accepting bunch. I can’t think of anything we have said or done that would bring the wrath of islam over most other western sites. We preach love, tolerance, openess and acceptance. We strive for a better future for EVERYONE.

Does anyone know how to fix the forums? Hopefully we did not loose all the high quality posts and heartfelt commentary over their last year of existence.

Overall, a sad thing (for them more than us)… not sure what else to say.

Als libertärer Anarchist ist man es gewohnt, zwischen den Fronten im Krieg der Kulturen zu stehen. [1]
Die Reaktion des linken Spektrums auf das Manifest der 12 [2] zeigen eindeutig in welcher ideologischen Sackgasse sich diese mit ihren linken Orthodoxien befinden.

Immer noch weigern Teile des linken Spektrums die nicht Menschenrechtskonformen, geradezu Menschenrechtsfeindlichen, Aspekte verschiedenere Kulturen (dies ist im aktuellen Fall die islamische Kultur) offen anzuprangern.

Intoleranz darf nicht toleriert werden. Keine Freiheit für die Feinde der Freiheit.

Das mag Paradox klingen, dass mag militant klingen, aber Freiheit muss unter umständen auch militant verteidigt werden. Ein bisschen Freiheit und ein bisschen Menschenrecht gegen nicht.

In dieser Hinsicht bin ein Anhänger der GPL-Philosophie. Die Kultur des Humanismus, der Menschenrechte, der Aufklärung und der Säkularisierung (auch bekannt als westliche Kultur) steht quasi unter GPL Lizenz.
Die GPL Lizenz garantiert die Freiheit von Software dadurch, dass sie dem Softwareentwickler die Freiheit nimmt, die Software Unfrei zu machen.

Auch die westliche Kultur darf Unfreiheit und Unterdrückung nicht dulden.

PS: Dieser ganzer militärischer Jargon, steht mir inzwischen bis zum Hals!!!

Wiedereinmal setzt bei konservativen Politkern der autoritärer Beißreflexe ein.
Wiedereinmal soll es einen Anlauf geben, so genannte Killerspiele zu verbieten.

Einer der immer wieder vorgebrachten Vorwürfe gegen solche Spiele ist der, dass Spieler nicht zwischen Realität und virtueller Realität unterscheiden können.

Nun, eine Reihe konservativer Politiker können dies definitiv nicht. Anders kann ich mir nicht erklären, wie z. B. bei der Folterdiskussion, von verschiedenen konservativen Politikern, immer wieder Hollywood Szenarien herangezogen werden (tickende Atombombe in einer Großstadt), um Folter zu legitimieren.

Hier haben einige Leute zu viel 24 gesehen.

Auf Gamasutra ist ein Artikel über Weird Worlds: Return To Infinite Space erschiene.
Weird Worlds gehört zu dem Genre der 4X Spiele und wird von Digital Eel entwickelt. Der Artikel geht nicht so sehr auf das Spiel ein, als vielmehr die Schwierigkeiten kleiner Softwareentwickler sich in der Spieleindustrie durchzusetzen.
